Review of mineral make-up: 57 and love Pur minerals

I am 57 with normal to dry skin and very few wrinkles. If it were not for my rosacea, not carry Foundation because I like the look of natural skin, clean with a little mascara and flushing. But even my skin tone, has tried all kinds of Foundation by almost every major brand - moisturizing polarized, regular liquid Foundation (oil free, based on the water and everything in between), cream powder, Pan American's makeup, mineral makeup, etc. - and still did not like the way that they all suddenly highlighted dry flakeslarge pores, or folds (or grains, when I was younger). Eighteen months ago I stumbled a free Pur minerals make-over at Ulta. My sister and I tried it and it went with the starter kit and shadows. The rest is history. I like Pur in BE because it has a matte finish more. BE may be well expensive young people, but I thought that mica gave my skin a silver appearance and highlighted every small surface imperfection. PUR minerals is thinner than Arbonne, so the goal is fur. I liked much better than the mineral composition of Mary Kay, and one of the brands (cannot remember which) are found in pharmacies. And I like the flat brush on a typical brush face of dust. After reading all the comments, I think that the reason some may not like, or any mineral makeup, is because they are putting too much. I believe that the secret is to apply very slightly the first dust. If it is not enough coverage for its taste, apply a second very light powder. I discovered that if I get a little more about what I like, the soft DOES that with time. I do not mean that it is absorbed into the skin, but improved as the day goes by. If I feel a little more than I like when they leave the House, by the time I get to work I think that my skin looks smoother and error-free and at the end of the day when my makeup would normally be non-existent or look like death heatedmy skin looks wonderful. I get compliments on my skin, even by younger women. So if you don't like Pur minerals (and this can be applied to any mineral makeup), try to use a very light hand until the amount and coverage is comfortable with. Still think that it is better than the coating with a liquid for the skin.
